DALLA NATURA TRE RIMEDI NATURALI PER IL NOSTRO FEGATO

FROM NATURE THREE NATURAL REMEDIES FOR OUR LIVER

Dr. Elena Lucchi, Research and Development

In the Traditional Chinese Medicine, there spring is dominated by the element of wood , which symbolizes the rebirth, and has as reference bodies the liver and the gallbladder.
That is why, in embracing this Eastern tradition, we must consider the idea of purify our heavy liver after winter and to facilitate its correct functioning.

The liver: a laboratory of chemical transformation

This organ (actually, the largest gland in our body!) performs a silent activity and for this little known by most people.

The liver is busy with an endless series of fundamental activities:

  1. intervenes in the absorption of fats in the intestine
  2. in the synthesis of endogenous cholesterol
  3. in the nourishment of the cells of our body
  4. in the elimination of substances that are no longer useful or that can become toxic (such as drugs)
  5. in the synthesis of coagulation factors it is a storage system of fundamental nutrients as iron, copper and vitamin B12.

It's a chemical transformation laboratory which works continuously and which facilitates the activity of nearby organs, such as the pancreas, intestine and kidneys, contributing to well-being of the whole organism.

Thinking about these aspects, I now understand the reason for the repeated advice to consume during this period dandelion , lemon , artichokes and I thank my yoga teacher who makes me contort to reactivate the full functionality of this organ!

According to Chinese medicine and the liver what does it do circulate energy throughout the body and could be linked to weight gain of the latter also the feeling tired that we perceive with the arrival of the beautiful season. Here because we must take particular care of it!

Which foods are useful for cleansing?

The starting point is always correct nutrition : foods that increase gastric secretion and are tonic for the entire body can help us.

The Artichoke ( Cynara scolymus ), called "liver friend" in ancient books, is one of the oldest cultivated plants in the world, whose extracts have been used since ancient times for liver diseases. Its properties have been known since the 17th century and are supported by modern research, which in addition to confirming the protective action on the liver [1] , has highlighted other therapeutic properties such as lipid-lowering, antioxidant and hypoglycemic properties [2] . It has a protective and antioxidant action on the liver together with boldine (the active ingredient contained in Boldo) [3] , Vitamin E And C and micronutrients Zinc and Copper.

The Dandelion ( Taraxacum officinale ) which we perhaps know by the name of shower head or Piscialetto, whose flower is yellow and very common in meadows and uncultivated fields in spring, has fundamental properties for the detox of this period: combines with the effect diuretic that detoxifying the liver . Dandelion is known in traditional use for its ability to promote drainage of liquids: this combines the properties choleretic , stimulating digestion and purifying, useful in moments when a general detoxification of the organism is necessary.

The last ingredient I want to talk to you about is the olive tree ( Olea europaea ), a plant that we know well because it is widespread in the Mediterranean basin and in Italy in particular. It is very rich in active ingredients both in the fruits and in the leaves, from which an extract is obtained with well-known antioxidant and liver-protective properties, [4] which helps reduce LDL lipoproteins (low density, commonly known as "bad cholesterol"), as well as preventing their oxidation which is the major cause of damage to the circulatory system.

Help for the arrival of spring: BeC natura food supplements

Edible plants with a typical bitter taste such as artichoke, the milk thistle, the gentian and the dandelion, very common in the Mediterranean areas but we are not always able to have them available on our table, we can easily find them in a supplement, which combines them all in one capsule and which has been formulated to help the liver carry out its irreplaceable work. The supplement Epo Stim®  contains these ingredients and can therefore be an aid, even in combination with the supplement Depur Plus®, to promote the physiological functions of the liver and lighten it from the "burdens" of winter, for

Let's fully enjoy the arrival of spring!
